Medical Director

TeamHealth has an excellent leadership opportunity for a full-time Physician to lead our Hospitalist team as a Medical Director at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington. This is a key leadership position. As the Medical Director, you will work closely with TeamHealth and facility leadership at all levels to oversee the growth and success of this established 32 clinician practice. We ask that you be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. The ideal candidate will have previous Hospitalist leadership experience, while also having excellent communication and supervisory skills. Other qualifications include expertise in regulations and regulatory compliance as well as a strong clinical knowledge base. This includes leading our team with responsibilities while driving client support initiatives such as Process Improvement, Risk Management, Implementation of Evidence Based Guidelines, as well as overseeing the development of quality incentive plans for and supporting the clinicians in reaching quality objectives, including but not limited to core measures. In addition, you will provide guidance and leadership promoting initiatives such as geographic rounding, early discharge planning, multi-disciplinary rounding, and HCAHPS score improvement strategies. The position is approximately 95% administrative, 5% clinical.

Kadlec is a not-for-profit health system in the Tri-Cities in beautiful southeast Washington. The system includes Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, and Kadlec Clinic, a network of primary and specialty care clinics in the surrounding area. Kadlec is affiliated with Providence Health & Services, which operates exceptional hospitals and clinics across the west.
