St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates, P.C., is seeking non-invasive Cardiologists for fulltime summer 2018 placement. Albany Associates in Cardiology: Established in 1980, this highly regarded group is committed to delivering the highest quality, state-of-the-art cardiovascular care to patients through evidenced-based guidelines. With more than two dozen physicians and advanced practitioners treating patients across four hospitals, Albany Associates in Cardiology offers a vast range of services, including cardiology, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, vascular clinics, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology at St. Peter’s and Samaritan Hospitals, and electrophysiology. Instrumental in establishing an interventional program at St. Peter’s Hospital, a top 100 Heart Hospital for 10 years, Albany Associates in Cardiology also provides medical directorship of St. Peter’s Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Program.

Opportunities for 2018 placement are in non-invasive cardiology.

Mid Valley Cardiology: Located in Kingston, Mid Valley Cardiology is dedicated to providing consultative, diagnostic, and preventive adult cardiology, as well as inpatient cardiac and critical care at Kingston Hospital. Our experienced clinicians are board-certified in internal medicine and adult cardiology, and all are fellows of the American College of Cardiology. Services include prevention and management of a vast array of adult cardiac problems, including coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, heart failure, hyperlipidemia, heart valve disease, and arrhythmias. Our providers perform all of the standard noninvasive testing in our office, including exercise testing, echocardiography, nuclear testing, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, 24-hour and 30-day rhythm monitoring, heart failure analysis, and pacemaker and defibrillator analyses. Additional cardiac testing is performed at Kingston Hospital and includes transesophageal echocardiography, tilt testing, calcium scores, and 64-slice CT angiography. Invasive cardiac procedures are generally referred to our associates at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. The providers at Mid Valley Cardiology are involved in clinical research and teaching, and are proud to provide patients with the most up-to-date therapies and management strategies.

Applicants should have the following:

  • Board Certified Internal Medicine and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology
