Job Details
The Summit Medical Group (SMG) in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey is recruiting a board certified/eligible Head and Neck fellowship trained surgeon to lead our division of Head and Neck Surgery. Candidates should have at least five years of clinical practice and have been involved in developing a Head and Neck service. The physician leader will be responsible to oversee the daily operations of the head and neck service and for the surgeons performing facial plastics, neurotology, and base of skull procedures. In addition to being an outstanding clinician, this leader should have demonstrated administrative and academic accomplishments in their field, as well as a record of successful research investigation and mentorship.
SMG has partnered with MD Anderson in Houston to develop an outpatient cancer center in Florham Park, NJ. The new cancer center will be a 140,000-square foot center with state-of-the-art facilities set to open in the summer of 2018. The building will include full imaging, medical oncology, surgical oncology, infusion therapy, and radiation oncology. This partnership between SMG and MD Anderson will give patients in the New Jersey area access to world renowned treatment protocols, clinical trials, and cutting edge research.
