Gynecologic Oncology Physician Opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio

TriHealth's Division of Gynecologic Oncology is seeking an outstanding, fellowship-trained Gynecologic Oncologist to join our highly successful group. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing excellent, compassionate care along with strong surgical skills and a desire to educate the next generation of Obstetricians/Gynecologists through a very broad GME program.

· See patients from a well-established referral base—the largest in the region—with 169 PCPs
· Have individual block OR time and access to seven daVinci robots, including one Xi model
· Clinical research is well supported
· Experience enjoyable work/life balance with a shared call schedule

The TriHealth Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology includes 32 residents, 28 full-time faculty members, and 50+ privately practicing OB/GYNs. The Division provides comprehensive cancer care including chemotherapy to women with gynecologic malignancies who live in the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana areas. We are an affiliate member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group/NRG.

At The TriHealth Cancer Institute (TCI), we focus all our skills and resources on turning cancer patients into cancer survivors. Leading cancer experts throughout our system meet at a weekly "tumor board" to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.

Our TCI physicians create a plan that covers everything from insurance to testing to treatment and reflects patient input and needs. As part of individualized treatment, patients may be able to participate in a clinical trial. A cancer care navigator then helps schedule appointments and keeps things on track. Whether our patients need surgery, radiology or chemotherapy, TCI has expertise in all areas and will even help find financial and personal support.

TCI wields the power of the full TriHealth system, which has been named among the country's Top 100 Most Integrated Health Networks 13 times. For more than 20 years, TriHealth's cancer programs have merited accreditation by the American College of Surgeons. More recently, we've been recognized by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) Certification Program.

Cincinnati is ranked #9 on Forbes' list of “The Best Cities for Raising a Family” and fifth on the publication's list of most affordable metro areas. World-class parks, arts venues, schools, neighborhoods, professional sports teams, restaurants, and vibrant Ohio Riverfront sports and entertainment complexes make Cincinnati a great place to call home. Attractive relocation packages are available.

Join a team that makes a difference every day. You will enjoy generous compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for leadership and professional development. Both 2018 fellows and practicing candidates will be considered.
