The Department of Hospital Medicine at Cleveland Clinic is recruiting Regional Directors to serve as the leadership liaison and representative for our Regional Hospital Medicine Programs. Current needs exist on the East Side of Cleveland (Hillcrest and Marymount hospitals) and the West Side of Cleveland (Fairview, Avon, Medina hospitals.)

The Regional Director will be responsible for the management and development of each of the Hospital Medicine site programs. This provider will work closely with hospital and departmental leadership for the benefit of its staff, patients, and the community.

Qualified candidates will be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and have a long term interest in a Hospital Medicine career at Cleveland Clinic. Recognition of Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine through ABIM is preferred but not necessary. Candidates should possess leadership experience in hospital medicine in domains of hospitalist operations, quality, patient safety, and/or patient experience. ACLS certification is required.

The department is currently home to over 160 staff physicians and 26 advanced practice providers who deliver inpatient clinical services both in tertiary and local community hospital settings, serve as teaching attendings for resident teams, and have a robust perioperative/consultative presence. Additionally, department hospitalists actively teach and precept medical students in the Lerner College of Medicine in a variety of faculty roles, and are engaged in scholarship surrounding various aspects of clinical care delivery, education, quality of care, and patient experience.
