Physician

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our established Post-Acute team in Prescott, Arizona. We ask that you be Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine trained physicians with an interest in joining one of the most dynamic areas of care in medicine today. We have been serving Arizona patients since the late 1990's. This position includes working in Skilled-Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Assisted Living Facilities. The world of Post-Acute care medicine is developing and improving rapidly. Physicians will find autonomy and flexibility with our practice that is almost non-existent in the remaining practice structures today. TeamHealth is physician driven, patient focused, and provides an opportunity for your growth as you develop a career in Post-Acute care medicine. Last year, the majority of our Post-Acute physicians earned above 75th percentile in their specialty, with an average of 15 patients a day.

Recently nominated as one of the 10 Best Arizona Attractions, Prescott has a rich western history and has many Victorian style homes and historic buildings standing today. There are four golf courses within the city limits and many lakes boasting recreational activities such as boating, camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking & picnicking. Weather is moderate with dry spring and early summers, and rain falls mainly during the monsoon season of July-September.
