The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking a full-time Academic Physiatrist.

Clinical responsibilities for this position include caring for a portion of our 16-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation unit, conducting PM&R consults in our 500-bed acute care hospital, and treatment of outpatients post discharge. Electro-diagnostic testing opportunities exist in the nursing home environment if desired. The PM&R Department has a large and dynamic PM&R training program and a well-respected medical school.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to mentoring and teaching residents, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a record of interdisciplinary collaboration, and have the desire to be integrally involved in enhancing quality of patient care. The successful candidate will be BE/BC in PM&R and possess the credentials that will qualify for a faculty appointment at a minimum level of Assistant Professor. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
