Medical Director

Leadership Opportunity for an Assistant Medical Director to join our Emergency Medicine team at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. This Level II trauma center supports an ED that sees an annual patient volume of 70,000. The ED has scribe services as well as 60 hours of daily APC coverage to support the physicians in the ED. The recent expansion of the new 51-bed ED will be completed by 2016. The ED provides 60 hours of physician coverage daily along with great specialty backup. TeamHealth also staffs and manages the hospital medicine program at this hospital. We offer a great compensation package that includes base plus RVU, incentive bonus, and a monthly administrative stipend for the assistant medical director. We also offer independent contractor status and paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage. Candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
