The Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) seeks candidates for open rank (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) non-invasive cardiologist to join its Division of Cardiovascular Diseases and Hypertension.

Rank and track is dependent upon qualifications. Candidates must have an MD and be board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, by appointment start date. To be considered, candidates must have additional training, and be board-eligible or board certified in Echocardiography and have a strong interest in a career in academic medicine.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing services in the echocardiography laboratory (at least 50% of her/his time) and clinical cardiology service at RWJMS and its affiliate, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital is a 965-bed hospital with campuses in New Brunswick, and Somerville, New Jersey, and serves as a flagship hospital of RWJBarnabas Health.

The candidate will actively participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff. An interest or background in heart failure, valve heart disease, and/or cardio-oncology are encouraged but are not required.
