Cardiology Hospitalist Needed in Southeastern MA
Seeking a Cardiology Hospitalist for an inpatient opportunity dedicated to inpatient consult services at two hospitals 13 minutes apart. No outpatient responsibilities. The successful candidate would see new and follow-up consults, both on the floors and in the Emergency Department and should be qualified to interpret EKG, Holter, echocardiograms, and cardiac stress tests. Coronary (catheterization) interventions are not required, but duties may require placement of temporary pacing wires, management of CHF, dysrhythmias, acute myocardial infarctions, and acutely-ill cardiac patients. Training in the management of intra-aortic assist devices (IABP) and Impella devices would be desirable.
