Non-Invasive Cardiology

Join a busy, well-established, and highly-regarded cardiology practice in the Hudson Valley Region of New York.

WMCHealth, the Westchester Medical Center Health Care Network, is seeking a board certified cardiologists with three or more years of experience to join a five-physician practice that provides a full continuum of cardiology services to its surrounding community. We are expanding our footprint within the Hudson Valley, providing non-invasive cardiology services at two of our hospitals in Ulster and Dutchess Counties, and throughout our expanding network.

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited fellowship training in cardiology and be able to obtain an unrestricted New York State Medical License. The desirable candidates will be able to work in a collaborative team environment and should possess excellent interpersonal skills. The positions come with full benefits including malpractice insurance, health benefits, CME allowance, and 401k. There is opportunity for an academic appointment with New York Medical College, at the appropriate rank. The practice admits to two of WMCHealth’s affiliated hospitals in Poughkeepsie and Kingston, New York. The physicians are affiliated to, and part of the faculty at Westchester Medical Center, with a line of report to the Chief of the Division of Cardiology.

The Mid-Hudson Valley is located within an hour and a half of New York City and 60 minutes from the Westchester Medical Center campus. The practice is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, an area surrounded by beautiful mountains as well as the Hudson River, offering an abundance of outdoor activities for residents and visitors alike. Designated as a National Heritage Area, the valley is steeped in history, natural beauty, culture and a burgeoning food and farmer’s market scene. The Hudson Valley also boasts excellent public and private schools with a vibrant higher education culture, as the home to several notable institutions such as Mount St. Mary’s College, Marist College, SUNY New Paltz, The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the Culinary Institute of America, among others.
