The School of Medicine of Stony Brook University is seeking a full-time physician, board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible/certified in Palliative Medicine to join our faculty in the Division of Hematology/Oncology.

The Assistant Professor will be active clinically as a member of our experienced, valued interdisciplinary team who provides inpatient palliative care services to patients at Stony Brook University Hospital with growth potential in outpatient oncology. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop research and/or educational programs for trainees of all levels at Stony Brook Hospital and the Stony Brook School of Medicine.

Required: MD or equivalent, board certified in Internal Medicine, board eligible/certified in Palliative medicine.

Preferred: Fellowship trained Palliative Medicine attending with interest in developing palliative care education and/or research.
