A hospital in Maryland is looking for a pediatric hospitalist who is able to provide locum tenens coverage on an ongoing basis. This position will task the locum with rounding on newborn patients, attending deliveries, performing circumcisions, and placing umbilical lines. On a typical day the locum will report to the facility at 8am and stay until rounding and clinical duties have been completed, after that the locum will remain on-call for the remainder of the shift. On a typical day the locum can expect to see 6 - 7 patients per day with another 1 - 4 admissions possible. This is a full-time opportunity where the locum will provide approximately 10 shifts per month.
