The Northwell Health Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a pulmonologist based at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital, a 312-bed community hospital that provides inpatient medical, surgical and critical care in a culturally diverse area in Northern Queens, NY. 

LIJ Forest Hills is a division of Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Northwell Health and hosts an Internal Medicine Residency Training Program.  The new faculty member will develop ambulatory as well as inpatient pulmonary medicine services at LIJ Forest Hills and will also be an integral member of the Northwell Health Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine with rotations at the Northwell Health tertiary hospitals, North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. 

The Division hosts fellowship programs in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine as well as Sleep Medicine with over 30 faculty members.  The division’s faculty members are active in clinical and translational research in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine and are recognized educators with academic appointments at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.  Requirements include completion of fellowship training and board certification in pulmonary medicine and two – three years post-fellowship experience.
