A hospital in Michigan needs an oncologist who is able to work a four-month locum tenens assignment. This position will require the locum to see adult patients for both inpatient and outpatient oncology/hematology duties. Common duties on this assignment will be managing bone marrow transplants, VAD/CV catheters, biopsies, and other common hematology/oncology procedures. On a typical shift the locum can expect to see 5 - 15 patients per day. This is a full-time position where the locum will provide coverage 7am - 4pm, Monday through Friday and weekend call coverage from 5pm on Friday until 7am on Mondays one weekend per month.
