Opportunity -

Multispecialty award winning hospital in Midwest America is seeking a General Surgeon

- You would be joining a hospital system and family of 50 providers who provide services to 7 different clinics in local communities.

- There are currently two GS on staff. One is nearing retirement, while the other will be leaving in May. The current volume averages 10 endoscopies per week and 5-6 surgical cases per week.

Surgical cases will be performed between two neighboring hospitals with 5 new OR suites with minimally invasive equipment. Surgical cases include variety of bread and butter cases including appendix, gallbladder, hernia, breast biopsy, and colon resection. Facilities are fully staffed and have experienced OR support team. The team includes 6 first assist advance practice providers, surgical techs, scrub nurses and circulators. The team handles over 500 joint cases, 350+ bariatric cases and hundreds of gyn surgery cases per year.

- Earn a generous 2 year base guarantee in the 400's and full medical benefits including IPERS retirement plan with 9% of compensation contributed by employer.
