The Stephen and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York seeks a second full-time BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our team. This position offers excellent opportunities for clinical practice, teaching, research, and advocacy. Clinical work includes inpatient and outpatient consultations for suspected abuse and neglect. We also provide the medical services at the Queens Child Advocacy Center, an NCA-fully accredited co-located CAC.

Cohen Children’s Medical Center, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is a 202-bed, tertiary facility, completely dedicated to the care of infants, children and adolescents and is the only exclusively dedicated pediatric hospital on Long Island. As the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the New York metropolitan region, treating over 230,000 children per year, we are the tertiary pediatric medical center of Northwell Health and the only NYS Level-1 Pediatric Trauma Center on Long Island. We are proud to have been selected as one of “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals” by US News & World Report. In addition to the renowned tertiary clinical resources that we offer, our faculty also enjoys access to the scholastic and research resources of the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
