The Mayo Clinic Department of Immunology is seeking a transplant immunologist for a faculty position at the Mayo Clinic Arizona campus.

The ideal candidate will be an investigator whose research program addresses innovative and important issues related to the basic science of transplant immunology. Specific areas of interest include induction of immune transplantation tolerance, mechanisms of early and late transplant rejection, role of the innate immune system in acute and chronic rejection, and individualized strategies of immunosuppression. 

Candidates at all levels of academic rank will be considered. Senior candidates must have a strong publication record and history of NIH-equivalent extramural funding. Junior investigators should have a strong publication record and evidence of successful competition for external funding is preferred. The selected individual is expected to develop and/or maintain a nationally and internationally recognized extramurally funded research program. Importantly, the individual will be an active participant in Mayo’s multicenter transplant research involving all three Mayo sites.
