Academic Electrophysiologist

The Division of Cardiology at Albany Medical College is seeking an academic electrophysiologist to join our rapidly expanding practice. In response to growing demand for EP services, Albany Med is increasing clinical capacity through expansion of lab space and faculty recruitment.

This position will focus on arrhythmia management and procedures. Applicants should therefore be well-trained in all dimensions of contemporary arrhythmia/EP practice, including device implantation and management as well as ablation techniques including advanced ablation strategies. In joining an academic faculty, the successful candidate will enjoy ample opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows. Research and other scholarly work is encouraged and supported commensurate with the skills and accomplishments of the clinician scientist.

The Division of Cardiology has fully accredited cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology fellowship programs. The successful candidate will work in a collegial environment that emphasizes multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research, as well as dedication to medical education. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
