Geisinger Health System is seeking a full-time BC/BE nephrologist to join the Department of Nephrology at Geisinger Medical Center, located in Danville, Pa. We are looking for an energetic individual committed to the delivery of clinical care and dedicated to teaching and medical education. Join a group of eight nephrologists and one nurse practitioner to participate in the department's expanding activities, which reflect broad programmatic and scholarly interests.The Department of Nephrology provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient subspecialty services, including inpatient evaluation of AKI, critical care consultation, CCRT, acute and chronic dialysis, outpatient management of CKD, a comprehensive metabolic nephrolithiasis clinic, multidrug-resistant hypertension clinics, pretransplant kidney evaluations and postoperative/long-term management of kidney transplant recipients. Teaching and mentorship responsibilities include oversight of four nephrology fellows, residents from our internal medicine program and medical students from affiliated institutions.. Opportunities for clinical and translational investigation are available through on campus research centers.
