Excellent Full-Time Cardiology Opening in Danbury, CT (Fairfield County, 70 miles from NYC)

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join our established and busy employed practice in Danbury, Connecticut, (Fairfield County) located about 70 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in NY. The practice includes 13 physicians and six APRNs and excellent support staff. Danbury Hospital’s Emergency Department is an accredited Level II Trauma Center, a Stroke Center, and a Chest Pain Center, offering 24-hour interventional cardiology. Cardiac services at the hospital include Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Arrhythmia Center. Our Cardiothoracic Program includes TAVR. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Cardiology and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Position includes inpatient work at Danbury Hospital and outpatient office services in our main office in the Medical Arts Building next to the hospital campus. There will also be opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations in surrounding towns. The position includes teaching rotations with our Cardiology Fellows at Danbury Hospital.
