Excellent Med/Peds or FM Staff Physician Primary Care in CT

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking Family Medicine or Med/Peds Staff Physicians for their Primary Care offices in Brookfield and Ridgefield, CT practices.

In Ridgefield, CT, we are seeking a full-time BC or BE IM/Peds (double boarded) or Family Medicine Physician to work in a well-established primary care practice that currently has nine experienced providers (Physician, PA, and behavioral health, four of which are IM/Peds Physicians). The practice is in a brand new state-of-the-art 10,000 sq. foot facility with fully implemented EMR located 45 miles north of NYC within a picturesque New England town. It has a very strong sense of community, abundance of outdoor activities, and proximity to theater, sports and cultural centers, and nationally renowned public schools which makes this a tremendous location in which to practice primary care medicine.

In Brookfield, we are seeking a full-time BC or BE FM or IM/Peds (double boarded) physician to work with experienced physicians in a busy established practice in a family friendly location with close proximity to NYC. At this busy established practice you will work closely with eight physician colleagues as well as three APRN/physician assistants.

Job Summary:

Provide medical care to patients in an outpatient setting, assist them to recover from acute illnesses, and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses. Teaching opportunities are possible for some roles.

Job Requirements:

• MD or DO with Connecticut Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration
• Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine AND Pediatric Residency or Family Medicine Residency or IM/PEDS or IM Residency and be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Ridgefield hours - Flexible weekday schedules between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm and one weekend in six (9-1 Saturday and Sunday).
• Brookfield hours - Flexible weekday schedules between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.  And one weekend per month (9-4 Saturday and 10-2 Sunday)
• Full-Time position with a minimum 37.5 hours available for patient contact including). Call responsibilities shared with providers from multiple locations.
