Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology/Oncology/BMT, is seeking a full-time BC/BE pediatric hematologist/oncologist to join their growing team.

The practice currently consists of seven members and ranks in the top 10% of programs nationwide for enrolling patients onto research studies for the Children’s Oncology Group. The successful candidate will maintain a practice in general hematology/oncology, provide teaching to residents and medical students, and engage in clinical and/or translational research.
A candidate with an interest in benign hematology is preferred. Fluency in Spanish and existing licensure in the state of California would be additional assets.

Loma Linda University’s Medical Center and Children’s Hospital is the only Level I Trauma Center serving a four county area that covers approximately 25 percent of the state. The Medical Center and Children’s Hospital are equipped with over 850 licensed beds.

Loma Linda University is located East of Los Angeles, in a region known as the Inland Empire. The beaches of Newport, Laguna, and Malibu are only 60-90 minutes to the West, with superb swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and sailing. Also 60 minutes to the West is downtown Los Angeles, with its top-quality restaurants, world-renowned museums, opera, and other cultural opportunities. The Big Bear Mountain Ski resort is about one hour drive from LLU. The golf courses, shopping, and spas of Palm Springs are a 60-minute drive to the East and World-class Mammoth Mountain resort is a six-hour drive to the North.
