A hospital in Virginia is looking for a hematologist who is available to work at least three months of locum tenens coverage. This is a hybrid assignment where the locum will perform both hematology and oncology duties including both benign and malignant conditions including early stage malignant gynecologic conditions. In addition to working 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday the locum will also provide 2 - 3 weeks of evening call and 2 - 3 weekends of call coverage per month. While on-call the locum will cover for three facilities, however, all call responsibilities are consultative only. This facility typically sees 45 - 50 patients per week (35 - 40 infusion patients).
