Northwell Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeon to join us as we expand our services throughout the Eastern Region of Long Island, New York. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, endoscopic skills, and an interest in surgical education. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is interested in being part of a growing practice in Suffolk County which will involve inpatient work as well as outpatient work in the region.

You would be joining three other surgeons, including Dr. David Rivadeneira, who cover Huntington and Southside Hospitals. Known for his advanced skills in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Rivadeneira has a major interest in laparoscopic and other minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of colon and rectal diseases, including cancer. He is recognized as a national leader in laparoscopic colon surgery, and has extensive experience teaching laparoscopic colon surgery to surgeons throughout the United States and abroad.

This is a very supportive and collaborative private practice atmosphere with academic opportunities and the opportunity to build your own elective volume. Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
