Hospitalist – Full Time, Part-time weekend teaching and Per Diem

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking Full-Time, Part-time Teaching Weekend, and Per Diem Hospitalists for Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT. Work in a collegial professional environment with experienced physicians in a busy community hospital located in family friendly location with close proximity to NYC. Unrestricted US work authorization required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Norwalk Hospital, a member of the Western Connecticut Health Network, is seeking highly competent, well trained internists or family practitioners to join our expanding team of inpatient specialist physicians. Norwalk Hospital is a Yale-affiliated community teaching hospital with a robust internal medicine residency program located less than an hour from NYC in beautiful Fairfield County. Our hospitals are Level II trauma centers and have earned Primary Stroke Center designation by The Joint Commission and the American Stroke Association.

Job Summary:

Provide medical care to patients, assist them to recover from acute illnesses, and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses. 

Job Requirements:

• MD or DO with Connecticut Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration
• Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Preferred: Prior experience as a staff physician
• Unrestricted US work authorization, no visa sponsorship available
