Director of Electrophysiology
Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Lebanon, New Hampshire
Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H), one of the nation’s leading innovators in clinical care and national healthcare policy, is seeking a BC Electrophysiologist to join the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine and lead the electrophysiology program. The successful candidate will have demonstrated clinical proficiency and be eligible for, or have achieved the rank of, Associate Professor or higher. He/she should also have experience in leadership and an academic record in translational, clinical, or population research. He/she will join an academic practice of 25 full-time cardiologists (four electrophysiologists) along with dedicated EP fellows, associate providers, nurses, technicians, and support staff. The responsibilities of the successful candidate include administration and leadership of the EP group, inpatient and ambulatory consultation, and invasive procedures consistent with an advanced electrophysiology practice. The successful candidate will engage in strategic development and growth of the EP program. In addition, the candidate will engage in academic activities, including research and the mentoring of staff including physicians and associate providers, as well as cardiovascular trainees, internal medicine house staff, and students from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. This position holds an academic title at the Geisel School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic portfolio.
