A hospital in Washington State is looking for a psychiatrist who is available to work a three-month locum tenens assignment. This is an inpatient position where the locum will see patients for consultations, (1 per day), new admission (4 per day), and rounding coverage. This position will require the locum to round on 15 beds where the average patient length of stay is 11 days. Patients seen on this assignment will be suffering from substance abuse issues, general psychosis, co-occurring disorders, or symptoms of detoxification. ICANotes is the EMR platform in use at this facility. This is a full-time opportunity where the locum will work 40-hours per week with call coverage every fourth weekend.
