AtlantiCare Physician Group (APG) the employed physician network of AtlantiCare, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic physician to serve as the Medical Director of Urgent Care.

AtlantiCare is a Baldrige Award-winning healthcare organization and the largest provider of Urgent Care services in New Jersey.

As Medical Director of Urgent Care, you will oversee AtlantiCare’s 10 Urgent Care centers – with 5 additional expansion sites underway, 30 physicians, 8 advanced practice providers, and full support staff.

In your role, you will oversee the transformation of our urgent care practices to achieve UCAOA Certification. You will also maintain a positive group culture, develop and implement quality improvement plans, population health initiatives, best practice protocols and clinical pathways, and establish specific quality measures for regional physician leaders and practicing physicians. You will convene and preside over monthly staff meetings. Additionally, you will meet as necessary with APG’s Leadership Team, Board of Directors and other medical directors.

Your duties will include participation in recruitment and retention initiatives, operating and capital budgets and reports, annual performance evaluations of regional leaders and the coordination of AtlantiCare Urgent Care center expansion and improvement projects as well as site marketing, and much more. All with an eye toward meeting the growth, financial performance and customer service goals of the APG Urgent Care group.
