The Northwell Health Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified fellowship trained Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at the Center for Advanced Pediatric Orthopaedics located near the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York. We offer a well-established, extremely active clinical and academic environment. We have a robust research program with dedicated research staff in the department and statistician support from our Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.

The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center is the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the New York metropolitan region, treating over 250,000 children per year. It is the tertiary pediatric medical center of the North Shore-LIJ Health System and it is the only ACS Level-1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the region. We are proud to have been selected as one of “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals” by US News & World Report. Cohen Children’s Medical Center covers all pediatric medical and surgical sub-specialties, pediatric MRI, pediatric hospitalist, as well child life and social work. We have a dedicated pediatric orthopaedic perioperative team, which includes board certified pediatric anesthesiologists. In addition to the renowned tertiary clinical resources that we offer, our faculty also enjoys access to the scholastic and research resources of the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. An academic appointment at the new Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine is commensurate with experience.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
