Job Details
North Shore Medical Center (NSMC), a 394-bed community teaching hospital and member of the Partners HealthCare System, is seeking a Chief of Hospital Medicine to lead their established and growing Hospital Medicine Service of 40+ hospitalists. This position is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced physician to provide strategic and operational leadership to achieve the clinical, quality, and financial objectives of the program.
The Hospital Medicine Service is a national leader in care redesign that supports physicians in a team-based environment. It is recognized for its work to improve the patient experience through the implementation of geographic assignments, multi-disciplinary rounding, and innovative care units.
The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of current hospital medicine experience and two years experience in a leadership role in a hospital medicine program. Board certification in Internal Medicine is required. This is a full-time position with shared clinical and administrative responsibilities. An academic appointment at Tufts Medical School will be supported.
