Akron General Is currently seeking Board Certified/ Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to staff its Emergency Departments. Akron General is:

• Verified as a Level I Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons
• Summit County's first Accredited Chest Pain Center (Society of Chest Pain Centers and Providers)
• A Primary Stroke Center with the Gold Seal of Approval™ from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
• Has an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency

Locations include our Main Campus Emergency Department, three free-standing Emergency Departments conveniently located at our Cleveland Clinic Akron General Health & Wellness Centers located in Bath, Green, and Stow.
