Job Details
Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a Staff Physician for their Danbury Primary Care office. It is our largest Primary Care facility with close proximity to Danbury Hospital in a highly regarded well-established practice with flexible hours and limited on-call obligations. You will work closely with about 10 physicians and three APRN/PAs.
At Western Connecticut Medical Group, our priorities are to provide patients with personalized and attentive care, help patients manage chronic medical problems, and enable our patients to get and stay as healthy as possible. This location is an NCQA certified level 3, Patient Centered Medical Home. We have the ability to coordinate primary care and specialty care needs with the advanced diagnostic and treatment services available through our network of over 385 physicians and three member hospitals: Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, and Norwalk Hospital.

Job Summary:
Provide medical care to patients, assist them to recover from acute illnesses, and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses.
Job Requirements:
- MD with Connecticut State and Federal Narcotic Use Registration.
- Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine Residency
- Must be Board Certified or be Board Eligible
- Flexible weekday schedules between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Full-Time position with a minimum 37.5 hours available for patient contact including one weekend per month (9-4 Saturday and 10-2 Sundays). Call responsibilities shared with providers from multiple locations.
