The University of Chicago's Department of Pathology invites applications for an academically-oriented Gynecologic Pathologist. Candidates must possess an MD degree (or equivalent), be board-certified/eligible in AP or AP/CP by the time of appointment, have or be able to obtain an Illinois medical license, and qualify for a faculty appointment. Fellowship training with emphasis on Gynecologic Pathology and an interest and experience in another field of surgical pathology, molecular pathology, cytopathology, or clinical informatics are preferred. The position involves resident, fellow, and medical student teaching. Opportunities for translational research are available. Academic rank will be Assistant Professor; salary will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
