We are seeking an Internist or a Geriatrician who desires to live in the Philadelphia suburbs.
The Practice:
- Compassionate medical practice of 6 physicians, 16 advanced practitioners, and 4 social workers allow a true team approach to patient care
- Their focus is on older patients – Long term care, assisted Living, hospice, and some house calls
- The group has relationships with a sizeable number of nursing homes, 3 hospitals, and hospice centers throughout the area
- The practice is extremely efficient – each physician’s schedule is created in advance with each day being approximately 8 hours – 5 day work week
- Physicians share call equally - 1 in 6
- The group has a unique and warm closeness amongst the practitioners, staff, and their families
- The base income (in excess of $200,000) is competitive with local area hospitalist programs but offers less stress and no long shifts. The profit sharing bonus adds substantially to the base income.
- Full benefits, paid malpractice, and a 401k are also provided
- Live in or near beautiful Montgomery County, PA
- Excellent schools, beautiful homes, fantastic shopping, and great restaurants are abundant
- Philadelphia and its suburbs are known for their exceptional universities and colleges (The Main Line is home to the 2016 NCAA Basketball Champions – The Villanova Wildcats)
- Downtown Philadelphia and all is has to offer, the symphony, theater, museums, and professional sports are just an easy drive away
- The Jersey shore and Baltimore are 1 ½ hours away, and it is just 2 hours to New York City and Washington, DC.
