The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston/Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking Cardiothoracic Surgeons to expand our program in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. This full-time clinical position is at the Assistant Professor to Associate Professor Level, with opportunity to work in a highly interactive environment with CV Surgeons and cardiologists in a collaborative environment in the Woodlands and surrounding Houston areas. The heart failure service will be an important part of a large multi-disciplinary cardiovascular group with sophisticated and dedicated cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, interventional, general cardiology, and cardiac surgery services as well as pulmonary and valvular services. This position will provide flexibility to accommodate both research and clinical interests for the applicant. A medical degree is required for this position. Successful candidates must have a medical degree and have passed specialty Boards in thoracic surgery with no less than 2 years of experience in general cardiothoracic surgery.
