A clinic in Maryland is looking for a neurosurgeon who is able to provide coverage on a three-month locum tenens assignment. This position will require the locum to perform neurosurgery on patients at a volume of 5 - 10 cases per day with an additional 3 - 4 patients at night. Shifts worked on this assignment will combine clinical coverage (9am - 5pm) with call coverage continuing until the following morning (7am - 7am). Call volume can vary from 0 - 12 calls per evening. This opportunity is part-time opportunity where the locum will work scattered dates spread over a three-month period. During office hours the locum will have the assistance of a PA, while s/he will have a first assist for important cases. Epic is the EMR platform used at this facility.
