Connecticut Children's Specialty Group, Inc. at Connecticut Children's Medical Center (CT Children's) seeks a Medical Director to lead our newborn nursery hospitalist team at neighboring Hartford Hospital.  The Special Deliveries Childbirth Center supports breastfeeding, and has been designated a Baby-Friendly Facility by Baby-Friendly USA, part of UNICEF’S Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative. Hartford Hospital is the 28th Baby-Friendly facility in the U.S. and the first in Connecticut.  In addition to our trained maternity nursing staff, we have Certified Lactation Consultants on the Maternity Unit 7 days a week.

As Medical Director, you will:
  • supervise the team of pediatricians, APRNs and PAs
  • teach, develop curriculum for pediatric residents and medical students and participate in research
  • participate in NICU and/or delivery room care, if desired
CT Children’s is a full service children’s hospital that serves as the primary teaching site for the pediatric residency program of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
