PHYSICIAN - PERINATOLOGIST - MFM

Rochester Regional Health a fully integrated health system in upstate New York, is seeking a Perinatologist to join our progressive and expanding organization based in Rochester, New York. This is an exciting time for the Maternal Fetal Medicine department, with opportunities for growth and expansion. We are in the process of community outreach with multiple sites through telemedicine.

This is a consultation-based department that offers a physician flexibility to pursue their own interests. One of the most exciting aspects of working with the MFM department is the ability to spend time in any area of interest. While the department is primarily clinical, there are also ample opportunities for academics. If the incoming candidate enjoys teaching, they can devote their 5th day to working with residents. There are also research opportunities within the department. Other opportunities may also include working with a particular patient population and a strong referral base. Between our 5 hospitals we average 6,000 births per year.

OB/GYN Opportunity Highlights:

• Our team of 12 ob/gyns practice in three unique Rochester locations plus another in the suburb of Newark, NY
• Participate in our fully accredited ob/gyn residency program with close interaction between residents and faculty
• Part time and full time options available
• Rochester General Hospital, our tertiary hospital,has antenatal sonography and 3D and 4D ultrasound plus, a 14-bed Level II Special Care Nursery with Neonatologists and Pediatricians available 24/7
• Fertility, perinatology, urogynecology and gynecologic oncology specialists also practice within the team

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from accredited medical school or osteopathic program.Completion of specialty residency, subspecialty or post-residency training as applicable.

Required Licensure / Certification Skills:

Board certification or eligibility. New York State license.
