Rochester Regional Health is seeking a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our progressive and expanding practice, in Rochester, New York. Our orthopaedic surgery groups are expanding in the Rochester area and surrounding suburbs. You will collaborate with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, dieticians, social workers, pharmacists and support staff to provide the finest, most patient-focused care. 

Rochester General Orthopaedics Highlights:

  • Current team includes 4 orthopaedic surgeons and 2 primary care sports medicine physicians practicing in 3 Rochester locations and 1 eastern suburb location
  • Main office is located on the campus of Rochester General Hospital, our tertiary hospital in an 83,000 square foot multi-specialty medical office building
  • Surgeon's office schedule includes 20-25 patients/day and operating room schedule of between 4 and 7 total joint procedures per day
  • Work closely with dedicated PAs who provide support to the surgeons in the office and operating room
  • Call coverage is 1:9 with PAs taking first call

Unity Orthopaedics Highlights:

  • Current team includes 6 orthopaedic surgeons
  • 5-day week with three days of office time and 2 days with block time in the operating room
  • Surgeons see 35 plus patients per day in the office and operating room schedule of 4-7 total joint procedures per day
  • Unity Hospital is home to the Charles J. August Joint Replacement Center, offering a comprehensive joint replacement program at one convenient location

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from accredited medical school or osteopathic program.Completion of specialty residency, subspecialty or post-residency training as applicable.

Required Licensure / Certification Skills:

Board certification or eligibility. New York State license.
