A clinic in California is looking for a family medicine physician who is able to work a three-month locum tenens assignment. This position will require the locum to see patients of all ages for minor laceration repairs, workers compensation injuries, physicals, and follow-up appointments. On the job the locum can expect to see between 20 - 30 patients per day working 8am - 6:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Paper charting with dictation support is used in place of an EMR system on this assignment. This position will require the locum to see patients of all ages and a high ratio of Spanish speaking patients. The locum will not be responsible for an pain management responsibilities as the facility tries to refer all pain management to ancillary facilities.
