New Critical Care Unit Seeking Chair to Lead the Program!

South Shore Hospital is seeking a physician to Chair the Critical Care Unit that will be opening in 2018!

It is a $60 million project that will add 42,287 square feet of new space. It will add a 24-bed intensive care unit and renovate the existing 24-bed ICU unit into more med/surg beds. This will further improve the patient and family experience at South Shore Hospital and allow us to continue providing the region’s quality critical care resources now and well into the future!

Ideal Candidates:

• Fellowship trained in Critical Care Medicine (surgical, anesthesiology, or medical)
• Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
• Leadership experience in medical, cardiac, and surgical critical care
• Minimum of five years of attending level experience in critical care
