The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hypertension, Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School seeks candidates for a new faculty position to develop and conduct an independent basic/translational research program in the area of bone and/or calcium physiology and pathophysiology and serve as a mentor for trainees in the Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Hypertension Division. We will consider MD, MD/PhD, or PhD candidates, although the ideal candidate would be a physician-scientist. While initial support will include a start-up package, desirable candidates will have demonstrated success in obtaining independent grant support at a national level. For candidates with the MD degree, training in clinical endocrinology and expertise in a clinical area related to the field of calcium, parathyroid, and bone are desirable. Appointment at Harvard Medical School at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, achievements, and institutional policies.
