A Barton Associates client in Indiana is looking for an addition medicine physician who is able to work a six-month locum tenens assignment. This position will have the locum seeing patients aged 18 - 64 for assistance with addiction or substance abuse issues. On the job the locum will be responsible for administering Vivitrol and Suboxone to assist patients who may be experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. This is a hybrid position where the locum will spend 80% of their time seeing patients with the other 20% concerning supervisory duties similar to that of a medical director. The locum will be solely responsible for the induction of patients. This is a full-time opportunity where the locum will work 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday.
