Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health), Galveston, Texas, seeks a noninvasive cardiologist to join its robust, academic cardiology practice at the title of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will participate in the well-managed, robustly-growing, academic cardiology practice with an energetic group of cardiologists. The practice is supported by the excellent infrastructure of the UTMB Health and entails mainly outpatient and occasional inpatient services, echo and imaging procedures, and the education of medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.

Our division strives to create and maintain a positive, stable, and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will enjoy highly collaborative and stimulating academic interactions with the faculty, fellows and staff.

The successful candidate should be board certified or eligible in ABIM Cardiovascular Diseases, proficient in echo, nuclear medicine, and other noninvasive cardiology activities, and possess or is eligible for full medical license in the State of Texas. Expertise in conducting clinical research trials is a plus but not required. Most importantly, the successful candidate should be an exceptional communicator with superior people skills, positive attitude, and genuine desire to benefit our patients through the practice of academic cardiology.
