A hospital in Illinois is searching for an anesthesiologist who is available to provide three months of locum tenens coverage. This position will require the locum to provide anesthesia for endoscopies, colonoscopies, OB procedures, and for orthopedic surgeries. Monthly procedure numbers will be: 120 endoscopies (50 inpatient), 7 robotic, and 20 births of which around 30% will be C-sections. Per day the locum can expect to see 10 inpatient cases or 10 - 12 outpatient cases. The locum will not be required to perform any head or heart procedures on this assignment. Less than 5% of patients seen on this assignment will be pediatric. This is a full-time opportunity where the locum will work Monday - Thursday.
