A clinic in Pennsylvania needs a psychiatrist who is available for a six-month locum tenens assignment. This is an outpatient position where the locum will work with individuals with mental illness and their families. Common cases on this assignment will be ADD/ADHD, depression, and bi-polar disorder. Patients treated on this assignment will be adolescents and adults where the locum can expect to see up to 20 patients per day for medication management checks or new/re-evaluations. This position has full-time hours where locum will work either Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm or four 10-hour shifts. Credable is the EMR used at this facility. Candidates for this position should be comfortable acting as the sole provider as necessary and have background experience treating mental illness.
