Geisinger Health System is seeking a BC/BE Endocrinology physician, dedicated to patient-centered, high quality medical care, to join our growing Endocrinology team at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton

 

Endocrinology at Geisinger:

-          100% subspecialty Endocrinology clinical practice with fully integrated inpatient and outpatient Electronic Health Record 

-          Clinical Trial Investigator opportunities in Diabetes

-          Continuous Glucose Sensors and Density interpretation

-          Geisinger Internal Medicine Resident teaching and rounding monthly at GMC

-          US guided Thyroid Biopsy Procedures available on site at GMC

-          Team Approach to Diabetes Care (NP and CDE) at all locations

-           Insulin pumps, glucose sensors, electronic glucose meter download capability at each site

-          High quality, Innovative, Patient Centric Care

 

Geisinger-Community Medical Center (G-CMC), Scranton, Pa., is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Lackawanna County and Scranton’s only neurosurgery program and adult in-patient behavioral health unit. It is also home to comprehensive cardiovascular and orthopaedic services, as well as a broad range of other surgical and radiological services. The campus is affiliated with Geisinger-Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, Pa., a 180-bed long term care facility.
