Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Dermatology is seeking a Dermatopathologist to join our team.

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group has an immediate opening for a BC/BE candidate to join the faculty of physicians in a clinical and educational role. Responsibilities include patient care in General Dermatology and Dermatopathology, and teaching of residents and medical students affiliated with Loma Linda University. Academic rank will be appropriate to the candidate’s qualifications and a competitive salary and benefits package is available. Research is encouraged but not required.

The ideal candidate will have trained in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology. This position will include a 50/50 clinical Dermatology and Dermpath with a potential to 100% Dermpath as the practice grows.

The Department of Dermatology is currently comprised of 11 physicians in various specialties, including General Dermatology, Mohs Surgery, Procedural Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Contact Dermatology, and Pediatric Dermatology. Trainees include a fellow in Procedural Dermatology, one/two physician assistants, six/seven residents, and a complete support and administrative staff. Patient facilities include the Loma Linda University Medical Center and Faculty Medical Offices, the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center, and Riverside County Regional Medical Center.

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is affiliated with Loma Linda University Medical Center, Children's Hospital, and School of Medicine, with the mission to deliver whole-person care at a world-class level of clinical excellence. The Medical Center serves as the largest tertiary referral source in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties with a surrounding population approaching 4 million.

Loma Linda University Medical Center and Children's Hospital is the only Level I Trauma Center serving a four-county area that covers approximately 25 percent of the state. The Medical Center and Children's Hospital are equipped with over 850 licensed beds. The Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is one of the largest and most advanced neonatal centers in the world, with 82 beds and 22,000 square feet dedicated to caring for some of our smallest patients.

Loma Linda is located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Nestled at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains, we have convenient access to beach cities, skiing, hiking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This region also has excellent private and public school systems.
