  Holy Spirit Hospital (HSH), a Geisinger affiliate, is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine trained physician to lead Emergency services at Holy Spirit Hospital located in Camp Hill, Pa.

 

Lead a growing team of Emergency Medicine physicians and advanced practice providers at Holy Spirit’s Emergency Department (ED), which cares for an average of 45,500 patients per year. Build/foster relationships with non-hospital based emergency medical services in tandem with Holy Spirit EMS Regional Director to ensure the optimal operation of emergency medical services across all service areas.

 

The Medical Director will work both administratively and clinically to provide leadership and management for Holy Spirit’s Emergency Department and Emergency Services. In cooperation with Geisinger’s Emergency Medicine Administration and Holy Spirit Hospital Administration, nursing staff and other departments, the Medical Director will ensure optimal emergency services are provided for all patients who present to the ED.

 

The Medical Director will report to the designated system Emergency Medicine Service Line Director. The successful candidate will have:

• Completed an Emergency Medicine residency program within the United States,

• American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) certification or eligibility,

• At minimum, 5 years of Emergency Medicine administrative experience,

• A demonstrated ability to speak on the administrative and clinical matters related to Emergency Medicine,

• Experience working with an integrated electronic medical record system.

 

Holy Spirit Hospital is licensed for 316 beds and offers a wide range of services including: heart and vascular care, general and specialized surgical care, imaging and radiology, women’s and behavioral health services, primary care, orthopedics, neurology, emergency medicine, and more.
